There were boxes of straws in the teachers' lounge, and I grabbed a few, thinking that I could use it for
An art project. My first idea was to have my Pre-K students paint by blowing paint on their paper. This activity is one way to keep them awake. Usually, they come to art right after their nap, so they are still half asleep.
I squirted blue paint on their white paper first and had them blow on it. Then, I squirted yellow paint. They were excitedly telling me that they made green! They had fun with this activity.
