First, students were guided how to draw a big leaf by drawing two curvy lines joining together are the end for a pointy leaf. Students chose their own colors to color their leaf. Some of them showed rotting leaf. Then they traced a circle for the caterpillar's body. Then, they painted it with poster markers in dabbing technique. When caterpillars are dry, they added legs and textures for hair using sharpies.
