6th Grade: Concentric Circles

I introduced the students to Wassily Kandinsky by showing them a slide presentation. Divide the paper into 12 squares and have them draw 3 to 4 concentric circles in each square. The students were given only primary colors, which they painted and mixed to create other colors.

They experimented with different color combination. Very colorful!
