Straw Blowing Painting

There were boxes of straws in the teachers' lounge and I grabbed a few, thinking that I could use it for    

An art project. My first idea was having my Pre-k paint by blowing paint on their paper. This activity is one way to keep them awake. Usually they come to art right after their nap, so they are still half asleep. 

On their white paper, I squirted blue paint first and have them blow on the paint. Then, I squirted yellow paint. They were excitedly telling me that they made green! They had fun with this activity.
